Mother and Daughter Twilight Discussion
Wednesday, September 8th at 6:00 PM Moms, are you as crazy about Edward as your daughter or are you more of a Team Jacob type? We realize that the Twilight series is as popular among adults as among teens so we want to invite mothers and daughters of all ages to come talk about which book is your favorite, what characters you’re crazy about and even what you’d do differently if you wrote the books. Duct Tape Crafts - Wednesday, July 21st at 3:00 PM. Feeling creative? Try your hand at making your very own duct tape wallet. Some kids have even made prom dresses from this versatile sticky stuff. See what fantastic ideas and things you can invent.
Ice Cream Social - Wednesday, July 28th - 3:00 PM at Fernald Park! Meet up at the park for a raffle, games, and ice cream as we end the Teen SRP for this summer.
Movies!
We are very excited about our new projector and movie license that was purchased for us by the Friends of the Goodwin Library. We will be putting these to good use this summer as part of our Summer Reading Program Make A Splash series. We will be showing blockbuster films filled with watery thrills like Flipper, Jaws, Pirates of the Caribbean and Finding Nemo!
